Did I enjoy this book? Yes. Did I love love love this book? Ehhhh not really.

I think my issue was I actually wanted a little more politic to it, but I get it’s a romance not a political fiction book. I also thought it might be a bit more enemy to lovers. I’d say it’s more enemy to lovers in the first couple chapters, then friends to lovers. Writing was great, I didn’t have any issues there. Chemistry seemed spot on, the schmexy scenes were schmexy. I was just missing something I can’t put my finger on.

I don’t know, maybe I am getting super weird and nit picky? Anyway, very much liked the book and I would absolutely pick up another book from this author.

Meet Christi Barth



Christi Barth earned a Masters degree in vocal performance and embarked upon a career on the stage. A love of romance then drew her to wedding planning.  Ultimately she succumbed to her lifelong love of books and now writes award-winning contemporary romance, including the Naked Men and Aisle Bound series.
