ARC BOOK REVIEW: Grave Robbing and Other Hobbies by Jayce Carter

Review

Rating:★★★★★★

When I tell you that Grave Robbing and Other Hobbies is not only a six star read but my favorite book of 2021, know I am not messing around.

Ava has to be my favorite heroine of all time. I don’t want to just be friends with Ava Harlin, I want to be her. Her snarky wit and unwavering loyalty to herself is unmatched.

This paranormal romance was so much more than I ever expected! Instead of being angry that it’s part of a trilogy, I am excited for more!

Extra goodies from me:

This is a reverse harem, for those that don’t know that’s one lady and four gentlemen. Yummy, yum, yum, yum.

The four guys in this romance are profound perfection. Do I have a favorite? Hell yes I do, and here’s a hint. He’s the silver, not a fox but a fox, of the group.

Even if you aren’t a huge paranormal romance fan, I still think you will love this book. I can’t gush enough about the heroine because she is that fantastic, and she makes the paranormal more believable, if that makes sense. For example, reading the book, I felt like I was in my hometown. I guess what I am saying is that it doesn’t feel too fantastical, though I love that shit too.

Last, there is a perfect amount of sex, and boy is it hot. Not too much, not too little, it’s juuuuuust right, and it hits in all the right ways.
