Review
Oh Mason, how I knew I would love you, but I couldn’t imagine just how much.
It’s no secret I have been a huge fan of Megan O’Brien since I first read Cole from her Ride Series. And this hasn’t changed with any of the next-gen books. Mason is a bit more of a spin-off; he is next-generation but decided not to go the MC route and instead went into the NFL.
What I loved:
The book still gives us the suspense I love so much from this author, but it’s outside the MC world. I was worried that maybe I wouldn’t love it as much, but I was wrong. The sports theme is just one part of Mason and Ellie’s amazing story.
I loved Ellie’s back story and how she comes through it. It’s obvious she’s a fighter. Mason is so so so perfect. I felt like how the author described him in previous books when he was a child is exactly how he turned out to be as an adult. I fell instantly in love with him.
Overall:
I really can’t say enough great things about this book. I think Megan O’Brien is a really underrated indie author. I adore everything she writes and hope that everyone who reads this becomes as addicted to her books as I am.
Megan was born and raised in Northern California where she still resides with her handsome hubby and three amazing kiddos.
When she's not enjoying family time or burying her nose in her kindle she loves hiking, running and relaxing moments on the back porch with a glass of wine.
