Holy moly why hasn’t anyone been telling me to read Marni Mann? And why didn’t you warn me that her books would wreck me?
What I loved:
Everything! I adored this story. I thought the plot was smart and different. I was interested word after word, page after page. I’ve never read a book that’s plotted out the way this one is, and this author knocked it out of the park. Be warned other authors trying to do this; now you have huge shoes to fill.
The characters in this book are written so well that I felt close to them like we had a relationship. My 9 to 5 is in healthcare, so I related a lot with Whitney, and this author nailed the nursing/patient aspect of the story.
Overall:
I’m so giddy over this book that I just can’t recommend it highly enough. When We Met goes above and beyond the 6 star review I’m giving it. The writing is fantastic, the characters are perfection, and the story just tore me apart, TWICE!
