I am a total newbie when it comes to this author, decided to read this book on a whim. I am so happy that I did because I loved it. This has got to be one of the sweetest rock star books I have ever read! Julian was just damn adorable. If you’re looking for some crazy alpha like dude, you won’t find him here. Julian was just a good guy who was fumbling his way around trying to get his musical career back on track while also taking care of his niece who had been literally left on his doorstep by her father, who just never came back to get her. Hadley is the neighbor, but she also is connected through her work, so the two run into each other quite a bit. I really loved how it all came together between her and Julian. It was all so sweet, and I was happy to see them get their happy ending. The only thing I am bummed about when it comes to this book is the fact that I didn’t read the previous ones in the series before diving into this one. And that’s not because this one couldn’t be read as a stand-alone, but because characters from the previous ones made a cameo, and I have a feeling that I would’ve loved their stories as well, and also, I would’ve loved to witness the whole drama in Julian’s life from someone else’s point of view.
