Review
Rock star romance is one of my favorite tropes. So is surprise/secret pregnancy. You put them together, I am so there! And that’s what this book is all about, a combo of the two. The book is amazingly written, and I was so hooked from start to finish. And let me tell you, my heart broke for Tyler. There was so much real emotion surrounding everything he did. When he finally finds out what Dani’s secret was, he is devastated, as he should’ve been. I really loved that entire part. However, while I was rooting for him, I really didn’t feel much for her. She just came across as cold and selfish. I really wanted to understand her choices, but, in the end, I just felt that she had used two good men to get the life she had thought she wanted which she ended up hating. She was very repetitive in her thinking, and just so unlikable to me. She told both of them separately that she didn’t deserve them. And that’s about the only thing she and I would have to agree on as far as the stupid things she did and said. And let me tell you, if she mentioned baby proofing, or lack thereof, the house, one more time, I was gonna lose it. She was super annoying with that. Nobody cares, but I never baby proofed my house, and my kid never stuck her fingers in the plug, stabbed herself to death or banged her head on the corner of anything sharp. Sheesh I really didn’t like her, if you can’t tell LOL But
🏻 I am really looking forward to the rest of this series.
