Review
When I first read that Rebecca Yarros, who I adore, would write a rockstar romance, I had to do a double-take. Not typically her trope of choice, I was unsure of what it might bring. Of course, I needn’t have worried as she delivered a perfect ending to a magnificent series!
What I loved:
Nixon, Nixon, Nixon. Oh, and did I mention Nixon? Because he is written beautifully. From the setup, in the first two books, I was ready to see where Nixon’s story would take him. From the first moments, his sharp-witted banter had me falling hard for the man. He was everything I adore in a male hero.
Zoe wasn’t so bad herself. I think what I loved most is that she was strong and could hold her own with the not always so loving Nixon, but she wasn’t hard. She was still vulnerable and relatable but not a pushover. I loved this about her.
Overall:
I know I’ve said it before I will probably say it a million more times if she continues to write, but I don’t think Rebecca Yarros could write something I didn’t love. She always gets me with the feels, and Muses and Melodies is no different. Everything I want from a rockstar romance and more!
