It’s hard to believe that the Summer is almost over and this year especially. 2020 seems to have been a hard year on most people and July made it a little harder for our family when we lost my father in law on the 25th. I don’t know about you all, but thank goodness for books, or I may not have made it.
July ARC reads recap~
July was full of my go-to Authors publishing new releases, but my favorite book from July and my second 6 star read of 2020 was Love & Hockey by Monty Jay. Her debut novel, but you’d never know if I hadn’t told you, was phenomenal. Be ready for lots of angst, but it’s so worth it. There’s a book two in the series, Ice Hearts, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
I also listened to Sloane Kennedy’s Obsessed, which is book 13 in her Protector’s series. It’s an M/M romance, which we all I know I love love love and Michael Dean, who is brilliant, does the narration. Over the past year, I have become a big fan of Sloane Kennedy’s books, she has a lot, but Obsessed skyrocketed to my favorite. If you like suspense mixed in with your romance, I highly suggest giving this one a try.

~What to expect in August
So what’s up for the blog in August? Well, I am looking to get my MC recommendation blog post out there, hopefully very soon. I’d also like to get a quick link for all the abbreviations I use and that the book world mostly uses for anyone who needs it. What’s on the docket for ARCs? I’ll post those below, but we all know I’ll be listening to lots of audio. I plan to get better about posting my audio reviews on the blog. We will see how that goes.
