Kate Burrows is a new-to-me author that I had the opportunity to read her new book, Repurposed. After seeing the adorable cover and reading the blurb, I was excited to get started. Claire is the owner of a successful home decor store where she knows how to make something broken new. But when she inherits her Grandmothers run-down farmhouse, she realizes it may be more than she can handle. Enter extremely attractive carpenter Mason who starts to shake up Claires safe and predictable life. I loved the idea for the story! Think prequel to Chip and Joanna Gaines life before Fixer Upper. What surprised me the most is how sweet this book is. There are some sexy scenes, but they are pretty demure compared to what I usually read. This wasn’t a turn off for me, but I would say the steaminess level was PG. Overall I thought this was a charming and enjoyable read. A solid a four stars!
