AUDIOBOOK REVIEW: Drive Me Wild by Julie Kriss

I am so excited that I got to do an audible review for Julie Kriss. Drive Me Wild was my first book by this author, and I am happy to report it will not be the last. Since this was an audible review, I’m going to do things a little differently. I want to make sure that I speak to the narrators as well as the story. The narrators for this book were Joe Arden and Erin Mallon. They did an excellent job as Luke and Emily along with the secondary characters in the book. I’ve listened to Joe and Erin on several other audiobooks, and they continue to be two of my favorite narrators. Now on to the story. I very much enjoyed the sort of friends with benefits to friends to lovers that Drive Me Wild presented. Luke is not the typical alpha hero, more of a good guy from the wrong side of the tracks but not all that good. Emily has emotional guards so high you’re not sure if Luke is going to be able to get through. I loved her sarcastic humor and wit. I thought the twist of Emily’s mother being the cop in the family was great. Typically it’s an overprotective Father as a cop, so I thought the switch-up was a great idea and worked well. I am excited to start the next book in the series!
