Kristin Mayer got it right with the title for Complicated Love. It actually may be a bit of an understatement. After reading Unexpected Love, the first book in this series, I was excited to know that Wynter and Kaysen would be next. The foundation for their complex story is set up in Unexpected Love, and Kristin delivered.
Complicated Love is an emotional ride of twist and turns, up and downs and the story of unwavering love. I was surprised by the theme the story took, but it was perfect for Wynter and Kaysen. Kristin knows how to write a story that pulls on your heartstrings, even when you least expect it.
